The Early Years

Evan was born September 1975 in Modesto, Ca where he spent the first 20 years of his life. He lived with his parents (Don and Miki) and various siblings (Rod & Cheri) until five when he had the house and parents to himself.

He attended Everett Elementary School until they decided he was a genius and sent him to the Gifted And Talented Education (GATE) program at Lakewood Elementary. At that time public schools had just started that program and were not sure what to do with it. So they just decided to pile on more work at a higher educational level. All work and no play doesn't sit well with most seven year olds and it didn't with Evan. Back to Everett he went.

New at school again and having trouble making friends he got into a lot of trouble so Fourth Grade began at a new school, Eisenhut Elementary. New at school again and still having trouble in Fifth grade. He did however meet his long time friend Mike Lambert who he hasn't contacted in a while (and should). This is where the legends of Evan beating up teachers, pounding sixth graders, and throwing desks started (with some validity). Back to Everett he went. Mr. Donahue, a six foot football veteran took Evan in for the rest of his elementary stint. He assigned the nickname "Mr. Ed" that never stuck and then moved on to Junior High.

Roosevelt Junior High led to a lot of firsts for Evan. First girlfriend, first snowcone at California Ice Factory, first drug bust......yup, Roosevelt was the first Junior high to have an undercover cop pose as a student and bust students for drugs. It might have inspired 21 Jump Street which started soon therafter. This is where Evan learned to scrap. He found out that if he took someone out in public he got respect and no one bugged him.

Off to high school, Grace M. Davis to be exact. In his freshman year he finally cracked and decided he didn't care what anyone thought about anything he did (rather liberating really). Soon after he was known as the "Hi" guy (no drugs involved). He just decided one day to say Hi, Hello, Ssup, How's it hangin', and other such casual greetings to every single person he saw as if he knew them and thought they were cool (whether they were or not). This is where he met David Hasbrook.

Once every one knew who he was he took the time to develop his own style and resurrected punk (mostly by the prompting of second rate friends). He hung out with anybody and everybody. He had stoner friends in Salida (girls mostly), his gaming friends, comic book friends, drama friends, and the Zaidian Council (which he wouldn't join). He met long time friends Matt Armstrong (gamer), John Garcia (drama, gamer), Aaron Hines (computer gamer), Ben Mettler (drama, gamer), Lucas Thompson (other), and a whole peck of others that he misses. Still not liking school he tried home schooling (which failed due to a second rate teacher) and then dropped out so he could attend Modesto Junior College.

Young Adulthood

After high school Evan spent a lot of time with a real bunch of losers. They weren't very good for him. Luckily he dropped them and went about gathering up an new group of friends.

This new group was made up of people he already knew as individuals, but most of them didn't hang out together. Some he met in high school, like Matthew Armstrong, John Garcia, Aaron Hines, & Lucas Thompson. Some he met through gaming sources, like Nelson Wiggins & Zack Patrick. The rest he met through other friends. like Ben Mettler, Jesse MacKay, Todd, & Ken.

He spent a lot of time hanging around, gaming, talking, soul searching, and having a real good time with this bunch o' pals. He is still in contact with Matt, Aaron, & Luke. He misses the rest of them crazy compadres and would like to get a hold of them. If you are one of them E-Mail Evan at:
